Partnership Schools

We’re proud to work in partnership with over 30 fantastic schools across East and South East London, giving our trainees the chance to learn from a wide range of settings, communities, and expert teachers.

We do our best to place each trainee in a school that’s within a 30-minute commute by public transport, so your placement is close to home and easy to reach. Thanks to our strong local partnerships, you’ll always be part of a supportive network of schools that are never too far away.

During the year, you’ll train in a minimum of two different schools, gaining valuable experience across age ranges and contexts. You’ll spend the Autumn term in your first placement school, move to a second school in the Spring (usually with a different age group), and then return to your first school in the Summer term - ready to see just how far you’ve come.

Most of your time is spent in school, learning directly from experienced teachers and working with children every day. Each week, you’ll spend four days in school and one day at SCITTELS for centre-based training - the perfect balance of hands-on practice and professional learning.
