A £4,000 training bursary is available to most graduate trainee teachers resident in the EU or the EAA which is awarded in nine monthly payments from October. If you are eligible, there is nothing to repay.

Scittels, like all teacher training providers, charges a variable fee. Our current fee level is £3000 per anum. This can be paid by the trainee directly or by means of a loan from the Student Loans Company.

Trainees are entitled to a maintenance grant of £1230 per anum and can also apply for a means tested addition to this grant depending on income. The maximum grant is currently £2765.

In addition, Scittels pays its own bursary of from £200-£800 per anum. The amount paid depends on the level of means tested grant obtained by the trainee.
