Applications are processed through the GTTR and should be made in the academic year before you wish to train. You should try to make this as early as possible as primary PGCE places are highly sought after.

The strongest applications will be those:

• Which show a high level of reflection on school experience, i.e. include a description of what was learned and activities undertaken during time spent in the primary school
• Without grammatical, punctuation, structural or spelling errors.

For the PGCE we will accept applications from you even if you have not finished your degree. Your degree must be 2:2 or above.
