| Training | The Graduate Training Programme Selection There are two stages to the GTP selection process
The selection day involves a period of classroom observation, a written task, maths audit and formal interview. They take place in the consortium schools and where possible, we will let you know if you have been successful at the end of the day. The lead school arranges the interview at a recommended employing school
after a successful selection day. Schools and trainees are
matched according to the school's strengths and the skills and
experience candidates can offer. The head teacher at this school will make the decision as to whether or not the candidate is suitable for employment as a graduate teacher in his/her school. Your place on the programme may be in jeopardy if you are unsuccessful at the interview stage in an employing school. |
