About SCITTELS

SCITTELS stands for School-Centred Initial Teacher Training In East London Schools.

SCITTELS, validated by Roehampton University, is a consortium of 30 schools within the London Borough of Newham who work in close partnership to provide high quality teacher training. The consortium has a strong commitment to Equal Opportunities and takes its responsibility to promote this with the utmost importance.

This large Consortium provides training in consecutive age ranges :

Foundation Stage(3-5 years)
Key Stage 1( 5- 7 years)
Lower Key Stage 2 (7-9 years)
Upper Key Stage 2 (9-11 years)

This partnership strives to promote the development of knowledgeable, skillful and responsive trainee teachers who will become inclusive and reflective practitioners.
During your training year with us we want to develop a trainee teacher who demonstrates the following attributes:
